New Commissioning Guide launched: Needs based Palliative Care Commissioning for Children

In a nutshell: This guidance, recently launched by South West Development Centre and developed with ACT sets out to support commissioners navigate through complex arrangements for children with palliative care needs. It has been developed for the SW but is likely to be useful throughout the UK.

Objectives include:
•    To help commissioners  understand the complexities of commissioning services for children with complex needs.
•    Interpret policies and standards for parents and carers.
•    Offer examples of good work from around the UK.
